The third pillar is particularly suitable for long-term capital accumulation. If you do not want to invest in securities in your Pillar 3a, you should pay particular attention to the interest rates and the creditworthiness of the account-holding bank.

True Wealth currently offers the highest interest rates for Pillar 3a. The account-holding bank for True Wealth's Pillar 3a solution is the Cantonal Bank of Basle-Country (Basellandschaftliche Kantonalbank), which has a state guarantee.

Those who want to do more with their money in the third pillar can consider investing part of it in securities with ETFs and index funds. In view of an inflation rate of 3%, this is an attractive alternative to pure 3a savings accounts.

The advantage of True Wealth's 3a solution: Both are possible with it. The securities portion can be set at will between 0 and 100% (more on this here).
