Bull market
A bull market – also known as a «hausse» in Switzerland – is a phase on the stock market in which prices rise over a longer period of time and optimism generally prevails. It is the opposite of a bear market. This phenomenon is symbolized by a bull pushing its horns upward.
Bull markets are part of a stock market cycle and usually last longer than bear markets.
