Stamp duty

Stamp duty, also known as stamp tax, is a sovereign tax levied in Switzerland on securities trading. It is based on the turnover of the transaction. For domestic securities, the tax is 0.075 percent, and for foreign securities, 0.15 percent, based on the order volume. The tax is paid equally by the buyer and seller of the security.

Index funds, such as those used by True Wealth in Pillar 3a, are exempt from stamp duty.

True Wealth transparently discloses all costs associated with wealth management and Pillar 3a. Click here for a complete overview of fees.
