Can I deactivate currency hedging?
Yes, if you click on «Edit strategy» you will find the option to disable currency hedging. However, this requires that you have either updated your investment mix by mid-2024 or opened your account after that date.
Please note that deactivating the suggested currency hedging will reduce the diversification of your portfolio and will affect both your free assets and your Pillar 3a account equally.
In addition, the usual one-time transaction costs (bid-ask spreads and stamp duties) may apply during the transition.
You can find more information on currency hedging and how we deal with it in our video podcast.
