Custodian bank

The custodian bank is the depository where investment assets (cash and securities) are held and transactions are processed. In the case of True Wealth, the custodian bank is separate from the asset manager in terms of personnel and legal structure. The accounts set up with the custodian bank for the purpose of asset management are in the name of the end customer.

The custodian bank usually charges a fee for these activities, known as a custody fee. At True Wealth, this fee is included in a flat rate.

At True Wealth, clients can choose between two custodian banks: Basel-Landschaftliche Kantonalbank (BLKB) and Saxo Bank (Switzerland).
