Can other family members such as grandparents or godparents also initiate the opening of a child account?
Yes, third parties, such as friends or relatives, can initiate the opening of a child portfolio and finalize it with the parent. If desired, the gift voucher can be printed and given in person.
Here's how it works:
- As a third party, you initiate the opening of an account for a child.
- Specify how much money you would like to give as a gift.
- Hand over the gift voucher.
- The parent completes the account opening process and sends you the account details with a click of the mouse.
Once the account has been opened and the parents have made their first deposit, you can deposit money into the child's account. Your deposits are visible in the child's account and marked with your name.
