How large are the FX spreads on Pillar 3a from True Wealth?
At True Wealth, the FX spreads incurred when trading ETFs or index funds in foreign currencies are only 10 pips (percentage in point). For the currency pairs we use, this corresponds to approximately 0.1%. This is very low compared to other providers, who typically charge five times as much.
Some ETFs and index funds on foreign asset classes can be traded not only in the currency of the target market (USD, EUR, or GBP), but also in CHF. Since we do not earn anything on FX spreads, we are independent in our choice of trading currency and in many cases trade the investment instruments in CHF (provided the conditions are otherwise comparable), which has a positive effect on your investment return.
Thanks to netting and pooling, some foreign currency transactions can be avoided altogether, resulting in additional cost savings.
